18th Century Hand-Painted Venetian Style Queen Size Blue Roma Bed

From our Hand-Painted Furniture Collection, our blue Roma bed, full posts with raised gesso details and white lotus finials.We try to not play favourites, but we do have a few! The Roma bed is for sure one of these. The high Headboard is used like a canvas, gracefully hand-Painted with 18th century Venetian Techniques, passed down through the generations of artists from our land. We decided to add a little texture, by choosing a raised Gesso tulips decor, some in full color, some in monochromatic white on a relaxing, tone down blue background, inspired by our Venetian Lagoon water colors.
