Designed to feel like a built-in piece of millwork Amuneal’s Murphy bed conceals a queen-sized mattress behind panels of silvered walnut with warm brass inlays. With the bed closed, the walnut and brass panels work with brass clad cubbies and integral lighting to create special illuminated display niches for your favourite items. A series of brass and walnut clad drawers and cubbies provide additional visual interest and storage space that can be used for bedding or to help make your guests feel more at home. When the bed is open a full-sized, hand-lacquered headboard and walnut clad nightstand cubbies reveal a welcoming space for your guests. Amuneal’s Murphy beds are produced in our Philadelphia-based furniture studio and are available in a range of finishes and sizes to accommodate different spaces and different mattress sizes.
