This beautiful King bed is designed by yours truly and hand-built in Long Beach, CA. The bed is most often ordered in walnut (thumbnail photo) but also shown in combination wood and cherry. Can be made from any type of you desire (and any size. Price shown is for KING) Though often imitated, the design is my own, inspired by a Mid Century/Danish modern aesthetic. All joinery is mortise and tenon - a super strong joint that will last forever!The bottom of the bed is 8 1/2 inches off the ground, and the top of the headboard is about 39 inches off the ground, and there's about 13 inches from the top of the slats to the bottom of the headboard (see note below).King dimensions are about 81" wide and 85" deep.Queen footprint is about 65" wide and 85" deep.
