Ion

The metal bed ION by MAZANLI is the result of a true passion for simplicity.‎The contemporary Berlin design enchants with the sparing use of material.‎ The clear, symmetrical shape, right angles and the omission of unnecessary parts create an impression of weightlessness.‎This is made possible by welding thin but highly robust square steel tubes (1.‎5 cm x 1.‎5 cm).‎ The steel used is German quality steel, is untreated and develops a unique patina over time, depending on the surrounding climate.‎ This creates an exciting contrast between industrial-minimalist character and filigree construction.‎ ION is also available with white or black powdered steel which does not develop a patina.‎The bed frame is completetly welded and will be deivered in one piece.‎ There are no screws.‎Specially produced for MAZANLI, the slats included with this bed have a particularly low height of just 1.‎19cm.‎ The wood used is FCSC-certified beech wood.‎ The slates used are particularly suitable for latex and foam mattresses but will work with any other.‎ Please note that a mattress or bedding (i.‎e.‎ bed sheets, pillows, blanket) are not included in the delivery.‎Important note: The untreated steel version is indeed untreated.‎ This means it will have scratches, signs of the welding (including "rainbow effect") will clearly be visible and the steel will develop a patina over time (i.‎e.‎ the steel will show signs of rust).‎ This is all intended and part of the design of the product.‎ If the aforementioned effects are not desirable, please choose the black or white powder coated versions of this product.‎ These are protected and do not develop a patina.‎
