Carefully considered in every way — from the custom live finishes developed to preserve the delicate beauty of raw wood down to the inset legs that keep shins and toes safe. Nodding to classic modernist aesthetics, Simple Bed is made with solid oil-rubbed domestic hardwood; smooth, machined brass imparts a candlelit luminosity. The Simple Bed is made from solid, oil rubbed American Ash or American Black Walnut, with optional headboard and brass hardware details. Wood is hand-rubbed and finished with Kalon Standard Finish, a natural oil/wax finish painstakingly developed to enhance and maintain the wood’s beauty and breathability.
