19th Century Italian Hall Bench was sculpted from fine walnut, and features an elaborately scrolled design including a boldly arched seatback embellished with foliate scrollwork and centered with a stylized shell shield motif appearing over an opening framed in matching scrollwork. The seatback flows to the scrolled armrests on each side, with matching scrolls appearing across the entire apron under the bench seat.
