A beautiful Louis XVI style bench, crafted from carved giltwood and upholstered in a red-purple damask fabric. The four tapered legs are joined by a rail adorned with a frieze of twisted cords and rosettes. 20th-century work, with some wear and tear to the gilding; the fabric is in good, clean condition despite a few small stains.
