Norwegian designers Anderssen & Voll created the Assemble Outdoor Bench (2026) as an elegant solution to wood's outdoor demands. Crafted from solid teak, the bench comprises individual planks shaped and finished separately. Rather than a unified slab, deliberate spacing between planks manages water runoff, promotes air circulation, and accommodates wood's natural movement in changing weather. Rounded edges soften its geometry, while honest construction and Scandinavian pragmatism anchor the design. Made in Vietnam.
