Handmade stoneware Bench manufactured at the workshop of Apparatu in Barcelona. Different clay bodys are mixed with natural fibers like corn, straw, or heather straw. The pieces are casted by hand, creating a thick and strong clay structure. It's a one of a kind object that has several layers of glaze and is fired at 1100Cº. The pieces are a personal exercise on glazing and the glaze formulas are changing on each object. The colours are depending on the combination of different oxides and minerals. Until a piece is completed, it is glazed and fired several times.
