Black Anodised Aluminium Bench With Yellow Kevlar Strap Seating

This listing is a special edition realised in collaboration with French women's shoe brand Free Lance with a black anodised aluminium structure and a yellow Kevlar strap upholstery.Originally realised for the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield and inspired by Donald Judd and Børge Mogensen, Anodised Wicker marries industrially extruded and anodised aluminium with hand-woven cane wicker, rush envelope and flax webbing seats. The clinical and precise aluminium contrasts the warm and organic material. To this day we assemble the pieces in my studio in London and apply the cane, rush or webbing seating ourselves.The collection consists of a bench available with a reel rush envelope seating, woven glossy lapping cane seating or a Scandinavian flax webbing, a stool also available with the same seating options and a cane woven armchair.The frame and legs can be finished in anodised grey or other anodising colours, powder coated (any colour) or mirror polished aluminium.
