Sculptural Oak & Stone-Look MA Bench by Donatas Žukauskas A large sculptural bench with a biomorphic form and the grounded weight of something architectural. MA is conceived first as seating — built to carry weight and meant to be used — and second as a spatial accent substantial enough to anchor a room. The solid oak seat brings natural warmth and comfort; the stone-look composite base brings mass, character, and a sense of permanence. It starts with a reinforced internal structure engineered to take real weight — strength is the starting point here, not something added later. Only once that integrity is in place is the sculptural form built up around it. The result is an object as solid as it appears: a dense, stone-like composite base, paired where relevant with a solid oak surface finished in food-safe oils for warmth and lasting durability. Surface irregularities in the base are kept on purpose — the speckled, raw composite reads as cast stone, but with the warmth and slight give of a material that started life as paper. Imperfection as a way to create beauty. Every piece is handmade and one of a kind — small differences in texture and form are intended and part of the design. Made to order. Designed, crafted and built by Donatas Žukauskas — a Lithuanian sculptor and designer whose practice rests on the belief that furniture should feel stable, honest, and materially present. Numbered
