Informed by the study of neuroaesthetics, this outdoor bench transforms stainless steel into a fluid, wave-like form that invites the sitter to look up at the sky in a restful position - encouraging the body to pause and the mind to soften. “The intention of the bench is to invite people to take a break - and that it's actually productive to us to do nothing," notes Vester.
