This is a French Louis XV style carved fruitwood bench attributed to Meyer Gunther Martini. It dates to the 1960s, and the upholstery is new. There is a subtle faux tortoise finish to the heavily carved frame. Meyer Gunther Martinin was a smaller New York manufacturer that was dedicated to quality reproductions. There are two available.
