This is a very elegant pair of Louis XVI Style Gilt Wood Benches from the Late 19th century. This pair refined by the delicate structure of the 18th century in France. All gilt shoo from the apron to the flower head medallions are carved above the four round and fluted legs, each tapering gently towards their feet. The upholstery is a new French linen. Very good antique condition, consistent with age and use. Please view all large close up photos for details.
