This item is fabricated to order by the artist/designer/maker in the Pacific Northwest. Artist's proof is shown in the photographs. Colin Tiyani has built several evolutions of this form which one might describe as feminine, lithe, sinuous. Like the female form, everything is in motion. There are no flat surfaces (except for the bottom of the feet). Everything isn't just curved. Everything, like nature, is compound curvature. Hand-painted bench. CNC machined, finger-jointed sugar pine. Acrylic paint with epoxy clearcoat. Legs are polished, cast aluminium. Piece is signed and dated.
