The top of this heavy duty pig bench is made from a single slab of oak almost four inches thick. Two or three superficial cracks that appeared as the board dried have been filled.. The top bears the characteristic criss-cross incisions indicating moderate purposeful use. The oak legs, almost three inches square, are mortised into oak cleats which are attached to the underside of the top. Knee clearance is 28”.
