The Ocean Bench, originally crafted in 1955 by esteemed Danish designers Joergen and Nanna Ditzel, receives an environmentally-conscious upgrade with Mater’s OC2 edition. This contemporary reinterpretation features a metal frame constructed from partially upcycled gunmetal steel, while its distinctive green slats are made from repurposed plastic waste sourced from discarded Carlsberg beer kegs. The bench’s lightweight structure and comfortably contoured seating make it an ideal choice for outdoor settings, joining a variety of OC2 selections designed and tested for outdoor use.
