This classic Central European bench form is treated a little differently here. The scalloped back rail ripples gently downward from the high point in the center. The back is cut out to form a round faux panel in the middle with a racetrack oval on each side. As we move up from the plain Louis XV feet, the cabriole legs become boldly scrolled arms framing five round spindles. Finished in old black paint, worn through at the edges.
