PERIOD James II soak joint bench from England. This is a fabulous and early oak joint bench dating from 1670-1690. The top is a single board and has a beveled edge, which has been worm down from the centuries of use. The aprons are simple and have molded edges, for added dimension and the bench is supported on hand turned and splayed legs, with hand carved and fluted design, joined by simple stretchers. This bench is a great size, and will easily fit into any type of decor in any home or office. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of early English history.
