This is a Victorian 1850’s bench. On the seat rail is a pattern of raised ridges, or reeding is another name. The legs features prominent, ornate carvings, that features an acanthus leaf motif with bun feet. An old tiny brad nail ( made from late 1700’s -1800’s) is seen underneath bench. The bird is an Eastern Bluebird on the fabric. The seat & foam & fabric has been redone. The bench is in good condition.
