The Cutter Bench was designed for the exhibition Walk the Plank, where Niels Hvass cut up a plank to make a bench with grooves and a frame that ties structure and surface together in a continuous shape inspired by the Bauhaus movement's use of metal pipes. Today, Cutter has developed into a series that includes several functional storage elements.
