swedish early 19th century gustavian painted sofa circa 1810. stunning sofa in original paint.  this would have been a day bed with a pull out section to the front, but it has since been sealed shut, this could be released if desired. pediment cornice and scrolling decoration to back rest.  removable seat which could be used for storage or just to view the wonderful straight from the tree cut planks underneath. standing on 6 tapering legs with painted black tips.
