Two seater August is an aluminum outdoor bench with armrests.‎The August collection by Vincent Van Duysen for Serax is made of aluminium and it is available with a black, white or eucalyptus green powder coating.‎ This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.‎ The chairs, stools, benches and tables articulate the sheer simplicity of the monastic life they were inspired by.‎ With a vision that results from an unbridled curiosity, Vincent Van Duysen always creates an all-inclusive atmosphere in which he seamlessly interweaves architecture, interior design, and design objects.‎ A vision to which he also stayed true when he was commissioned to convert the monastery of the former military hospital in Antwerp into a hotel.‎ For the terrace he designed the August collection, a series of minimalist chairs that effortlessly link the history of the environment to a modern interpretation.‎ August by Vincent Van Duysen for Serax is made of powder coated aluminium, available in muted shades.‎ This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.‎ The chairs, lounge chairs, sun loungers, tables and stools articulate the sheer simplicity of the monastic life they were inspired by.‎ The wider, slightly lower proportions of the lounge chairs are of this day and age and contribute to modern-day comfort.‎
