This is a vintage, 1930's - 1940's, Late Victorian/Hollywood Regency style, heavy cast and wrought metal, end of bed bench. It has a kidney shape and metal work is soft and feminine in its Victorian way. There is a missing piece of metal as shown in the pictures. It is a rare piece and really looks great at the end of a bed or even as a little bench within a sitting area. I recovered the seat in a golden, toned striped upholstery. The bench measures 48” long, 17” deep, and the seat is 18” high with the metalwork sides at 30” high.
