Absolutely stunning curved stacked teak bench designed in 2012 by Sean O'Hara. The bench was the result of O'Hara's inspiration he derived from watching manta rays swim in such a relaxed and calm way when he was snorkeling in Bali. O'Hara named the bench, Mobu, which is short for Mobulidae, the name of the fish family branch that represents rays. The "cantilevered bench draws upon the graceful, yet complex rhythmic pattern of a ray swimming. Mobu is one in a series constructed of multiple wooden elements, producing a radiating pattern, which accentuates the fluid motion of the bench." The craftsmanship and artistic beauty are remarkable from every angle.
