Eames Tandem Seating Group Design by Charles and Ray Eames Three fiberglass shell seats and a side table, crossbar with chrome legs, 1970s Height 81 cm, Width 222 cm, Depth 56 cm The Tandem Seating Group, a modular bench by the American mid-century design duo Charles and Ray Eames, impresses with its minimalist yet ergonomic form. It features two original 1970s fiberglass shells in excellent vintage condition, in orange and gray, and a central side table with a white surface and black edging. The fiberglass armchair shells of the Tandem Seating Group are arranged on a crossbar with chrome sled legs. The side table makes the bench perfect for an entryway as a practical surface, as well as for displaying decorative items or holding magazines or coffee table books. This beautifully preserved Eames bench is also ideal for a waiting area.
