Zhipeng Tan, Brass 'Surf' Bench, Tantan Collection

Zhipeng Tan’s ‘Surf’ bench embodies and further extends the concept of his most iconic collection, TanTan collection. “This year, we have been forced to isolate ourself from one another to maintain safety. Although staying home has become our default lifestyle, it ironically reminds us of holidays and leisure time that we used to take granted of,’ says Zhipeng. This year, he further explores his imaginary leisure time that we completely lost due to COVID-19, and captured it in the unique and playful little human forms, TanTan. The surf bench illustrates three TanTans carrying a surfboard and enjoying their summer time.
