A colorful geometric flat-weave jajim /cicim woven technique from Southern part of Turkey. Measures: 6'10'' x 9'10'' Turkish Cicims are primarily used as curtains or blankets. The weft and warp threads that make up the base are usually in the same color and thickness, and the threads that are brocaded into this base, in different colors and thicknesses, form the pattern. This type of weaving is constructed by stitching together several vertical bands, sometimes in different colors with each being about a foot in width, to create the finished product.
