Matching pair of Macey Model 98 finish 13, original, un-restored, but very good condition with all glass present and intact and smooth operating doors. They were purchased new by my grandfather in the late 1920s for use in his Chicago home as part of his home office. He was the partner in charge of the home office at Arthur Anderson for the bulk of his career. He died in 1970 at which point they passed to my father who had them until his death in 2008 at which point they came to me. Each unit consists of 6 sections, four book sections, a top and a bottom section. The sections just sit on each other and can be separated for shipment or rearranged easily. the small brass knobs are not original. Each Bookcase consists of 6 individual sections that just sit on top of each other; a base, four bookshelf units and a top unit. They would need to be seperated into those sections for transport.
