Bookcase produced by Parma Antonio e figli in the 1930s based on a design by Gio Ponti. This bookcase was commissioned by Gio Ponti for the library of the Mathematics Department at La Sapienza University in Rome. Uprights and crosspieces in gray painted metal. Shelves in gray painted curved sheet metal. Manufacturer's label on one upright. Good overall condition, with some scratches and paint loss. The set includes 11 shelves whose positions can be changed.
