This piece is newly made from solid, reclaimed birch hardwood and offers a striking architectural silhouette that complements both vintage retro and contemporary spaces. The bookcase features four spacious open shelves constructed from heavy, solid wood panels. The case is built with meticulous, exposed accent joinery visible on the top corners, showcasing artisan craftsmanship. For visual depth, the natural golden tones of the birch wood body contrast elegantly against a dark, hand-stained ebonized wood back panel. The piece is elevated by slender, metallic tapered hairpin legs, providing a lightweight, floating aesthetic characteristic of Danish modern design. Brand new, custom-made item in structurally flawless condition. Smooth-sanded surfaces with a durable, oil and wax finish. Custom made from a found bookcase. All of the wood had to be resized and gaps filled with this strips and small blocks. It is imperfect. It is beautiful. It is one of a kind.
