More information coming soon… A stunning walnut bookcase, hand-carved circa 1900s, in the style of Louis Philippe. The French bibliotheque has the clean lines that are synonymous with Louis Philippe furniture. The lower body has one shelf on each side, fronted by two doors, each with a burl veneer panel surrounded by thick geometric moldings. Two belt drawers with pendant pulls are aligned with a pair of thin pull-out writing surfaces with green felt. The elongated upper body has four shelves on each side, fronted by glassed-in doors.
