Italian modern Glass, wood and metal Bookcase Gritti by Andrea Branzi for Memphis, 2000s Floor bookcase mod. Gritti with a rectangular base, in wood, glass and metal. The peculiarity of this bookcase is its "interrupted" and asymmetric structure. The 4 upper shelves, two in wood and two in thick glass, fit into the structure and rest on central supports. The 3 lower rectangular wooden shelves are as long as the base. The supports on the shelves are wooden triangles covered in metal sheet or yellow wood laminate, which can be positioned as desired. Furthermore, the structure is made up of two "pillars": one rectangular in wood covered with a metal sheet, the other in blue painted metal rod with he shape of a ladder. The base is made of wood covered in white laminate. Produced by Memphis Milano in 2000s and designed by Andrea Branzi in 1981. Metal label present. Good condition, light scattered marks. The wooden shelves have some light blue marks and light parts. The blue metal structural part has some paint defects. The triangular supports and metal-covered rectangular "column" have light marks.
