Italian modern modular white bookcase Congresso by Lips Vago, 1970s Modular bookcase model Congresso made entirely of white painted metal. The structure is composed of three modules, which can be used side by side or separately. Shelves and brackets are manually interlocked, requiring no additional components. Produced by Lips Vago in 1970s, a merger between the Italian metalworking company Vago and the Dutch cabinet maker Lips. Winner of the SMAU Award for Industrial Design in 1968. Vintage condition, with several scattered scratches and small paint losses. The metal shows signs of yellowing.
