Late 19th century oak hand carved bookcase from France. The top of the bookcase features a lovely and well proportioned crown with hand carved decoration on the beveled edge, following down to simple sides with molded accents, and a hand carved apron in the front, also with a molded edge. The bookcase has two adjustable shelves, and is supported on simple feet, for easy placement against a wall. This is a lovely bookcase in a great size and depth for use anywhere in a home or office.
