Louis xvi mahogany bookcase with projecting edge, circa 1850 the front opens with three doors with beveled mirrors two of these doors are paneled with medallions the upper section is surmounted by an openwork shell motif the front is decorated with ribboned garlands the shelving and locks are original the lower section is carved with a frieze the entire piece rests on tapered legs a piece of exceptional cabinetmaking dimensions: h 257 x w 205 x d 53 cm
