Cal Bookend, Black (Pair)

What if an elegant bookend could also have a deeper meaning? This architectural design provides the perfect answer. Designed by Revision for Craighill, the Cal Bookend draws inspiration from the caltrop, a weapon of war. Here, the warfare tool becomes an object meant to support knowledge – literally. The bookend features two curved rods linked with a single bolt. Made of carbon steel, the rods boast nickel plating with a polished finish. Rubber feet ensure that the Cal Bookend remains in place at all times, even if it is used alongside large books. This design comes in a set of two. As the rods require (easy) assembly, the user becomes involved in the construction stage to create the three-dimensional architectural structure.
