Elegant Decorative Sculptural Pieces usable for storage of e.g. cufflinks or as bookends. 1920s Art Deco, made of Marble and Chrome.These highly decorative and elegant pieces, in total consisting of four different kinds of exclusive marble, are emblematic of Art Deco form based design, reflecting a fascination for the pure volume and authenticity of materials. Atop a base of solid black marble stands the main marble volume, which has yet another volume slightly protruded from the main volume, this one in a black marble with yellowish streaks along with horizontal chrome elements. The front of the main volume is made of a white and clear marble, while the remaining three sides are made of marble of a more marbled quality. Highly decorative and usable as solely decorative pieces, they can serve a multitude of purposes, including exclusive storage for cufflinks and the like, or as bookends. Wear consistent with age and use. Slight losses in the marble base, however these losses do not retract from the overall impression of the pieces.
