A smart and exceptionally well made antique Victorian revolving bookcase / occasional table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period. It is of extremely fine quality, the table top has stunning grain patterns, it stands on a beautifully turned and fluted central column base. In the centre there is a four section revolving bookshelf with pierced gallery edges. The base is beautifully carved, with four splayed legs that terminate in claw and ball feet, and brass casters beneath. We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
