Designed by Shiro Kuramata, Bookshelf is a two-sided module made of white matte lacquered panels. The particularity of this bookshelf is the varying size of the compartments, which perfectly reflects Kuramata’s idea that the volume of space required by each object must be proportionate to its dimensions.In this piece, the extreme visual lightness is paired with the net solidity.
