No visible brackets, no superfluous construction, just a clear connection between wood and form. By placing the shelves alternately on the left and right, a calm balance is created that constantly changes as you walk past the rack. The rack supports the objects placed on it, rather than competing with them. During the restoration, we chose to fully preserve the original character. The solid oak wood was carefully cleaned and then treated with a matte, nourishing oil. As a result, the warm wood grain comes out beautifully again, without the rack losing its serene appearance. We do not view this as a wall shelf, but as a compact piece of furniture that fills an empty wall in a natural way.
