Antique English bamboo book shelf table, c.1880 A truly unique piece probably commissioned for a library. Square in shape with an under mounted shelf to store books, just like a revolving bookcase. The table doesn’t revolve but it is on castors so has the ability to be spun around. Room for books up to 9.5” tall. The bamboo has been cleaned of grime then waxed. The rattan has been replaced so it is in great condition. Sturdy construction with all joints glued and tightened.
