An elegant and beautifully preserved French Provincial "Buffet Deux Corps" from Normandy, France, circa 1790. Crafted in solid fruitwood with a warm, golden patina, this tall cabinet features an arched cornice, floral carvings, and escargot (snail) feet that embody classic French country style. The upper section includes two glazed doors that open to reveal shaped interior shelves, perfect for displaying china, books, or collectibles. Below, two paneled cabinet doors conceal additional storage with multiple drawers and compartments, all original to the piece. Carved floral motifs, fluted accents, and gently scrolled trim add to its charm and refinement. Retains original brass hardware and key. A versatile statement piece for kitchens, dining rooms, or refined rustic spaces.
