More information coming soon… Hand-carved in oak circa 1880, this French hunt buffet has a speckled black granite top that is recessed, allowing four inches of the top edges to still be seen. These edges are quarter-round moldings incised with infilled niches. The rest of the carvings are related to nature, with the highlight being the three hunt trophies on the rectangular door panels. Three belt drawers are positioned above each door, with high relief carvings of branches forming the handles.
