19th century oak dessert buffet from France. On the top there is a glorious hand carved backsplash and four hand carved crown finials. There are three shelves, all with carved front beveled edges, and galleries on three sides. The carved and beveled moldings continue on the sides as well for added design interest. The shelf supports are very unusual in that they are vine barley twist turnings. The turnings have crisp edges and are so gorgeous! The piece is supported on hand turned and carved feet.
