19th century oak dessert buffet from France with a lovely detailed hand carved and scalloped backsplash, over three shelves. The top is wonderfully grained and has a hand beveled and carved decorated edge. The sides are simple and the front apron contains two drawers, also with hand carved decoration and drawer pulls in the shape of lions heads. The lower shelves also have interestingly carved edges and the lower shelf includes a molded base as well, over hand turned feet. The serving height is 40 inches.
