19th century oak buffet from England with extraordinary pollard oak shelves. The top has hand turned finials over three shelves, all with galleries surrounding. The three shelves are exquisitely grained and made from pollard oak. The oak has so much motion in the grain, it simply looks alive. The shelves are separated by hand turned and reeded shelf supports for added design interest. The piece is raised on hand turned feet, which are supported on what appear to be the original casters.
