The original Saint Anne marble top of charcoal stone with white veining is removable. Below is a wide drawer across the frieze, wrapped in book-matched mahogany and free of any hardware that might distract from the beauty of the grain. The cabinet doors are flanked by pairs of handsome, turned and polished columns accented with gilt bronze ormolu at the top and bottom. When open, the doors expose two fixed shelves for abundant storage in a dining or living room. Floral gilt bronze escutcheon plates adorn both doors, the lock is in working condition, one key included. The whole rests on a plinth base.
