A large Louis XV period buffet cabinet with a lovely weathered paint finish. Two paneled doors with scrolled moulding details provide access to the interior, with a decorative panel and a drawer in between. The interior is painted with a later cream paint and contains one shelf per side. Canted corners are detailed with fluting and terminate in restrained scroll feet. Hardware appears to be original, but with a likely later brass pull incorporated on the left hand door escutcheon. Would provide a good amount of storage. Patina, signs of age throughout, some paint weathering and associated distress. H: 36 W: 64 ¼ D: 21
