The buffet was confirmed in March 2019 by the public relations department of Deutsche Werkstätten Beteiligungs GmbH as a buffet by Bruno Paul, made in the late 1920s or early 1930s. It has many signs of use, such as abrasion on the top molding, small bumps and veneer chips on several edges, a repair on the bottom left (see photo) and an old woodworm infestation on the bottom right of the rounding. Only 1 original key still exists. The workmanship is of the very highest quality, the woods used with almost parallel grain show how much value was placed on maximizing quality. The drawers are absolutely smooth-running, the velvet liner is still in very good condition. The doors jam minimally. There are many small traces of use on the surface of the buffet. Due to its enormous size and the high-quality wood, it is very heavy and absolutely representative if it finds the right place. A real dream piece of furniture.
